Dr. Michelle Grimes is a doctoral-prepared board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years in nursing. She earned her DNP from Chamberlain University (2017), MSN & FNP from University of Missouri St. Louis (2014), BSN from UMSL (2002), MBA (2004), and ADN from Forest Park Community College (1987).

Michelle is the former CEO/President/Founder of the St. Louis Chapter of Black Nurses Rock, an American Heart Association Ambassador, a Stop the Bleed instructor, and a member of the Association of Missouri Nurse Practitioners Advocacy Committee. She founded the Education Athletes & Heart Health Foundation (501c3).

She is the former Chief Nursing Officer for CareSTL Health and currently serves as Center Medical Director for Oak Street Health Florissant. She is a wife, mother of three, and grandmother of eleven.
